Heal Yourself

Heal yourself the best way you can or know how before getting into another relationship after a breakup. Heal the peices of you that still wants your ex, because if you force yourself into another relationship just to get over your ex you would be using that person as a void to hide what you are really going through or better yet as a rebound. You would be craving that connection You guys once had. You would also be looking for your exes characteristics in that person you are currently dating and it's guaranteed to not work in the end...so why put yourself or that person in that situation? It's best to cut the cord and let go so that you can make room for new beginnings, new relationships and a very bright and potential future in regards to your KING or QUEEN. Do not hold yourself back from the "true' love that awaits you! You have to remember that sometimes pain, tears and grief is just a hidden blessing of what is yet to come. As the saying goes "let go and

Life Raped Me

In my life, I have survived: Death of my fiance 12 years ago... Molested by 5 years old... Took advantage of by 13 ... I've been homeless... Experimented with drugs... Disregarded by family... Contemplated suicide ... Survived a 6-year emotionally abusive relationship... Lost my soulmate due to my indescretions... Laid off from a great job that I thought I would retire from. Had to let my best friend who I once called my sister go due to drugs, promiscuity and chaos. Men saw my vulnerability and took advantage of that and I let them. I almost lost everything when I lost myself. I WAS RAPED BY LIFE After all of that I m ade it out alive , f ound my voice, worth and identity ... Life has its ways of showing you how beautiful it can be and how it can screw you all at once ... Growing up I made alot of excuses for why I continued to play myself and live less then what I was potentially capable of. I blamed the world for my downfalls even though those downfalls were

When People Talk Negative About You

When people have something negative to say about you it's out of fear..meaning fear of self! They have insecurities that they need to overcome but they project it in a negative way by lashing out and talking about others that is their way of continuing to hide their own insecurities. Don't let their words, their grief, their misery bother you because their issues are way worse then anyone else's. Best thing to do is laugh it off, live your life and continue being the great person that you are. Remember thats their karma they need to overcome! Never Too Late

I believe we were brought into this world to serve others in some form, shape or fashion...I also believe we were placed here to learn about ourselves and grow mentally and spiritually. The only problem is that alot of us tend to take on the weight of others and put more effort into others wellbeing instead of our own and thats when it becomes a problem. Let me explain... You exhaust yourself by taking on others issues "trying" to help them out when you know dang on well that you are experiencing similar circumstances, but you sat yourself aside to tend to the other individuals needs while neglecting your own which can cause mental chaos...just as the old saying goes "How can we care for others when we don't care for ourselves." As you come to the other persons aid and they succeed due to your help they move on with their lives with a mere "thank you" right? But yet your still stuck in the same place mentally and emotionally with no one to assist

Dear America

This is a facebook post that one of my FB friends @kenjipace  ( Kenji Pace) created. The words are strong and have much great meaning that I had to post this as this week's blog post...Please read without judgement and with understanding...this is a daily thing for the black men in America this also includes our black women also. Enjoy! Dear America Why do you hate me is it because of the fairness of my skin or is it the empowerment that it brings or is the fact that you don't understand my existence. Dear America, why do you hate me is it because you are afraid to get to get to know me, instead, you engulf me in chains and demean me by placing labels on me such as minority, thief, murderer, deadbeat. America you hated the fact that we elected a president of our own skin who motto was yes we can. America you cringed at the fact he was making black America great again. Dear America, do you ever get tired of fighting this same battle over and over with us, i don’t think you d
