I could tell the first time we spoke on the phone that this guy was someone from my soul family. When we were kids we didn't really have any cares or worries in the world...the only thing we worried about was breakfast, lunch and dinner and don't forget snack time. As teens our worries, wants and curiosity goes from innocence to responsibility and into this reality that we are never really prepared for. There are times when I sit and think of my childhood and how my parents never really sat down and had "that talk" with me about life and what to expect when it came to being an adult...but I had to learn the hard way and as of now I'm still not prepared for the challenges that has been bestowed upon me in these days and the days to come. I've experienced hardships, bad relationships, let downs from family and so called friends and the lists goes on and on.
